Developing Talent Impacts the Bottom Line

Research from the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) suggests that organizations with a formalized culture of learning outperform peers in the market. Clearly, thoughtful talent development is a bottom-line issue.

Despite the importance and strategic nature of developing talent, there is no consistent career path for the organizational learning leader. Unlike their counterparts in finance, marketing, accounting, and human resources management, learning leaders lack an unbiased forum for sharing research and best practices, professional networking, or a set of criteria against which to measure themselves.

The University of Pennsylvania has developed the Executive Program in Work-Based Learning Leadership to provide a top-tier university program for learning leadership.
