Focus: Leading Change

Dear Reader,
In the past year, many of the charismatic leaders who were celebrated on the covers of our business magazines have been pilloried in these same publications. What does it take to lead in a rapidly changing environment? How can board members meet the new responsibilities and scrutiny of their work? As the home of the first research center at a business school focusing on leadership and change management, Wharton has long been engaged in research on leading change, and we have developed one of the most extensive and innovative portfolios of leadership programs for executives. In this issue, we look at some of the insights from professors and business leaders on leading change.

Best regards,
Barbara Gyde
