Wharton Postscript: the NASD Institute-Wharton Certificate Program
Restoring Confidence in Financial Markets

NASD offers quality education programs, products, and services for the securities industry. The nonprofit organization was best known until recently as the owner of the Nasdaq, but it sold the exchange in 2000 to concentrate solely on its core mission of investor confidence and market integrity.

The NASD Institute for Professional Development, in association with Wharton Executive Education, offers a three-phase, 120-credit hour, certification program. Candidates who successfully complete all phases within a 3-year time period will be designated as a Certified Regulatory and Compliance Professional (CRCP) by the NASD Institute and Wharton. The second phase of the program offers the popular, and required, Ethics Symposium.

In next month's issue of Wharton@Work: E-Buzz, we talk to Wharton faculty and certificate recipients about the program's "return on investment."
