Focus on: Finance and Supply Chains

Since its founding, the Wharton School has been one of the leading centers for research and education in finance. Knowledge from faculty members is brought into the classroom in a diverse set of executive education programs, from those that focus on core finance to programs for CFOs and other senior executives. In this issue, we examine Wharton's broad strengths in finance and how they are translated into the classroom. We also explore pathbreaking faculty research on supply chains that informs Wharton's Managing Global Supply Chains program. Other articles mark a milestone for a program with Merrill Lynch, which recently celebrated its tenth year and welcomed its 1,000th participant, and offer the speaker lineup for a major Wharton conference on developing leadership talent in June. Finally, we present upcoming programs that can strengthen your own skills in finance, supply chains, and many other areas.

Sincerely,

Michael McTigue
Director, Marketing Communications
