Gideon (Gidi) Nave is an assistant professor of marketing at the Wharton School. His research uses a medley of quantitative and experimental methods from the fields of computational neuroscience, cognitive psychology, game theory, and machine learning for reverse-engineering the decision-making process in humans. Gidi’s research has been published in top academic journals such as Science, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Management Science, and Journal of Marketing Research. He holds a PhD in computation and neural systems from Caltech (the California Institute of Technology). He completed his BSc and MSc in electrical engineering at the Technion — Israel Institute of Technology, specializing in signal processing.
