The Wharton Business and Law Certificate program is divided into three sessions:
- The Summer Session offers an introduction to the key topic areas relevant to business today.
- The Fall and Spring Sessions offer a total of four semester-long courses that are of specific interest to attorneys and provides a rigorous preparation in professional business disciplines
Summer (August 2016)
This three-week program introduces participants to the key topic areas relevant to business today. Taught by select Wharton faculty, the participants are immersed in interactive sessions that will cover the concepts of strategic management and enhance participants' ability to lead, influence, and manage people. During this summer session, participants will also learn how to understand and interpret the language of financial business performance and develop a robust business vocabulary that will help them in communicate across business functions. Classes will be held twice a week in the evenings on the Wharton campus.
Fall and Spring Sessions
The Fall and Spring terms offer course work in areas of specific interest to attorneys and provide a rigorous preparation in professional business disciplines. Courses are selected to enable the acquisition of key business skills that better serve business clients, manage practices, or expand professional options beyond the practice of law. All classes will be held at Wharton's Steinberg Conference Center on the University of Pennsylvania campus.
Classrooms will be posted on the Wharton Business Law Intranet and available after August 7th.
