Executing Growth Strategies – India

Program Overview

In India and other dynamic economies around the world, leaders face continual pressure to accelerate the growth of their businesses by finding new ways to develop and sustain competitive advantage. But to achieve that growth, senior leaders must make strategic choices along two critical dimensions — avenues of growth such as innovation, consolidation, or diversification — and modes of growth, which include internal development and alliances or acquisitions.

Executing Growth Strategies will explore both dimensions in depth, examining the strategies you can adopt to help your organization achieve sustainable, profitable growth while overcoming challenges of implementing growth strategies from within your organization and your management team. This program is complementary to Strategic Thinking and Leadership, which focuses on the development of skills for identifying, creating, and sustaining competitive advantage.

Professor Harbir Singh, an expert in strategies for corporate acquisitions, applies his field-based research and the latest strategic insights to help you drive growth inside your company, with clarity on when you should partner or acquire a business.

The program offers a strategic toolbox to help you enhance how you select, assess, and evaluate potential opportunities. Wharton creates a live lab where you and your peers learn from real-life case examples and apply frameworks so you can drive strategic growth strategies inside your firms based on a solid foundation of knowledge.
