Focus on: Leadership Under Fire
In one of the worst economies in recent decades, business leaders have to make do-or-die decisions. In this issue, Wharton faculty discuss the importance of timely decisions, shared leadership, and resilience, plus offer strategies for leading in stressful times. A Marine captain who attended Wharton's negotiation program describes the complex negotiations and relationships in Iraq, and what officers need to succeed on the battlefield. Finally, we look at a new book about recognizing danger signs before they turn into disaster. We also offer a set of programs that can help you prepare for the leadership challenges ahead.
