> Chris Maxwell, PhD Senior Fellow, Center for Leadership and Change Management, The Wharton School About Chris Chris Maxwell is a senior fellow of the Center for Leadership and Change Management at the Wharton School and an instructor and coach for Wharton Executive Education. He currently teaches programs at Wharton’s Philadelphia campus and in the Middle East. He has been affiliated with the Wharton School since 1999, previously serving as Adjunct Professor of Management and Senior Associate Director, McNulty Leadership Program. His other teaching and consulting experience includes leadership development programs in Iceland, Mexico, France, Thailand, and China. Maxwell holds a graduate degree in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, a PhD in Public Administration from Penn State University, and an executive coaching certificate from Case Western Reserve University. He is the author of Lead Like a Guide: How World-Class Mountain Guides Inspire Us to Be Better Leaders. (Praeger, 2016).
