> David Bard, MBA Lecturer and Senior Fellow, Finance Department, The Wharton School; Partner, Halifax Group About David David is currently a Partner of the Halifax Group, a private equity firm with over $1.5 billion in assets under management. Prior to joining in 2018, David was a Principal at American Securities where he invested across sectors and served as a Director for several companies. Prior to that, David was with Bain Capital for nearly nine years where we worked across several geographies. He began his career as a consultant at McKinsey & Company in New York. David has an MBA from the Wharton School, where he was the Ford Fellow, and an MPhil in Economics with Development from the University of Cambridge, where he was a Gates Scholar. He also completed the Jerome Fisher Program in Management & Technology at the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated summa cum laude from Wharton and Penn Engineering. He is currently a Senior Fellow and Lecturer at the Wharton School where he teaches courses on private equity.
