> Geoffrey Gerber, PhD Founder and Chief Investment Officer, Twin Capital Management About Geoffrey Geoffrey Gerber, PhD, is the founder and chief investment officer of TWIN Capital Management, overseeing the investment process and general management of the firm, and is recognized as a specialist in institutional quantitative investment management. His published items include the article “Dividend-Growth as a Defensive Equity Strategy” in the Journal of Investment Consulting and “Equity Style Allocations: Timing Between Growth and Value,” a chapter in Global Asset Allocation. He is also a faculty member for the Wharton School-International Foundation of Employee Benefits Plans programs Portfolio Concepts and Management and Advanced Investments Management. He also teaches Florida public pension trustees as part of their investment certification programs in the Florida Public Pension Trustees Association (FPPTA). Gerber is currently serving as chair of the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh and the Jewish Healthcare Foundation investment committees and as a member of the University of Buffalo Foundation and the Burroughs Wellcome Foundation investment committees. Gerber is the programming chair and one of the founding members of the Pittsburgh Family Office Group and a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the Journal of Investment Consulting. He earned a PhD degree in finance and economics from the University of Pennsylvania as well as a BA degree in economics from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
