He is the founder and managing partner of JEM Capital Management, an opportunistic and special-situations value fund. Prior to founding JEM Capital, he worked at Guggenheim Partners and EY-Parthenon in their restructuring and liability management groups. Matla earned a BS in industrial engineering, an MS in quantitative finance, and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
