One of the world’s top insurance companies selected Wharton to design a program that would enhance its ability to attract clients approaching retirement and to cultivate its reputation as a thought leader in the retirement marketplace.

Wharton designed a holistic retirement planning program that addressed the three major risks retirees face:

  • Behavioral risk — the impact of uncertainty on making rational investment decisions
  • Longevity risk — outliving retirement funds
  • Investment risk — the effect of a downturn on long-term investments

To satisfy the overwhelming demand, Wharton creatively delivered multiple programs for the client that educated more than 300 financial advisors who are now better able to serve current and future retirees.

This is just one example of the type of programming that the Wharton Wealth Management Initiative offers advisors and investors. Learn more.
