Wharton Programs for Working Professionals (WPWP) offers post-baccalaureate programs of study designed for career-minded working adults who do not have previous coursework in business.
Our participants come primarily from major companies in the Philadelphia region and outside the U.S. Faculty members are appointed by the Wharton departments for their subject area expertise and their ability to maximize the learning and networking opportunities that can arise from across a select, highly motivated group of professionals. The emphasis is on applying the concepts learned in the classroom to everyday managerial decision making.
Held in the evenings and on Saturdays at Wharton's Philadelphia campus, all WPWP courses earn graded credits from the University of Pennsylvania and usually qualify for company tuition-reimbursement programs.
WPWP offers five separate programs of study, each leading to a post-baccalaureate certificate (students may also apply to take individual courses without pursuing a certificate).
