About Jason

Jason is a 5th generation member of the Ford family. Jason currently serves as the board chair for the family office and as a member of the investment and governance committees. Jason also is a member of the family council and previously served as the chair.

He also serves as a board director of the Ford Fund, the philanthropic arm of Ford Motor Company.

Jason is also a founding member of The ImPact, a membership network of family enterprises (family offices, foundations, and businesses) that are committed to making investments with measurable social impact.

Jason is founder and Managing Partner of Third Nature Investments, an integrated impact capital platform investing in the most promising innovations and technologies seeking to address urgent and massive challenges we face within our most critical earth systems.

Previously, Jason co-founded Closed Loop Capital in 2010, as one of the first early-stage venture funds investing in exceptional entrepreneurs leading ventures in agriculture technology and food system innovation.

Jason also co-founded Greener Partners, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization with a mission of building better communities through healthy food, vibrant farms, and hands-on education experiences and serving more than 12,000 children annually.

Jason serves as the board chair of Equal Measure, a 35-year-old 501(C)(3) organization that was originally created at UPenn Wharton tasked with supporting the strategy development and impact evaluation of many of the largest and most forward-thinking foundations and nonprofits in the US. Jason also currently serves on the board of the Meridian Institute, a nonprofit consultancy that supports corporations, philanthropists, and government agencies with effective regulatory and policy strategy development and advocacy.
