Thought Leadership and Solutions

We have partnered with a range of world-class companies and organizations to create transformative executive education experiences. Resulting programs leverage the vast resources, such as the research centers of the Wharton School and the University of Pennsylvania, to showcase powerful thought leadership, and provide solutions that can be implemented immediately.

Below is an example of a custom executive education solution:

The Citi | Wharton Global Wealth Institute

How does a global bank retain its most successful financial advisors while giving them the skills to maximize their effectiveness serving wealth management clients? That was the talent investment challenge facing Citi, a leading global bank with 200 million customer accounts and operating in more than 160 countries and jurisdictions.

In an industry where retaining top talent is a top priority, Citi needed an executive education partner to give its top-performing financial advisors, or relationship managers, a development program that would strengthen their connection to Citi while growing their leadership and advising skills. Specifically, it wanted a global brand that could help create a path forward for top performers — where they could enhance their business acumen and people skills while staying on the cutting edge of investment best practices.

The Citi | Wharton Global Wealth Institute targets the top percentile of Citi’s 3,000 relationship managers worldwide. Offering classroom and online learning, the program includes action learning projects that managers take back to their jobs to enhance the value they bring to their clients.

Client Perspective

It takes every function in the organization to drive growth, and it was important for us to provide cross-functional teams with the common language of an analytical approach to do that together. We needed a program customized to address our distinct business challenges and that would deliver tangible results.

Wharton tailored a program to our specific needs that resonated with leaders from across the organization. The Wharton team was very client centric, and we could feel it. It was a pleasure to work with them.”
